Cochrane Light Up November 24th, 2012 5:00pm - 7:00pm Downtown Main Street
Cochrane Light Up has been a great tradition for over 25 years. Light Up is a community and volunteer driven event that sees upwards of 3000 attendees. Local businesses sponsor a fire-pot for the evening which are situated on the closed off main street. The fire-pot sponsors then cook hot dogs and serve hot chocolate to the attendees. Santa will also make an appearance to take christmas wishes from all of the small Cochrane residents. We will also have a kid zone that will have various activities and crafts for families to participate in. Local school choirs will fill the air with great christmas music to provide an atmosphere to kick off the holiday season.
Cochrane Light up is also the kick off for the Cochrane Activettes Share your Christmas Food Drive. Food Donations would be greatly appreciated!
